Details:
Program Merakyatkan Seni Budaya: Majlis Pernikahan dan Persandingan Beramai-ramai ini dianjurkan oleh Gerakan Belia 4B Kawasan Jasin dengan mendapat kerjasama daripada Parlimen Jasin, Kementerian Kebudayaan, Kesenian dan Warisan, Kementerian Belia dan Sukan, Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat, Kementerian Pelancongan dan Jabatan Ketua Menteri Melaka. Program ini berlangsung pada 17 hingga 18 Ogos 2007 yang lepas. Program ini dirasmikan oleh YAB Datuk Seri Hj Mohd Ali B Mohd Rustam, Ketua Menteri Melaka dan melibatkan 12 pasangan pengantin.

Aku tunjuk gamba ni kat kawan2, diorg sume kata cantik.. tp aku pun x tau nape aku rase something's wrong dgn gambar ni.. mcm ade yg tak kena.. exposure kot, ke colour.. x tau laa..

Gunung Ledang is commonly known as among the locals for its mystical character and as a camping destination rather than a hill resort.
Steeped in legends and folklore, the mountain holds awe-inspiring experiences for many visitor up the mountain. Tales of supernatural encounter and visions of the legendary mountain princess, Puteri Gunung Ledang are not infrequent among believers of the `twilight zone'.
Mysticism aside, the mountain is a natural beauty with its challenging mountain trails, icy waterfalls, cascades, diverse birdlife, flora and fauna. Straddling the Johor/Melaka border, Gunung Ledang is the highest mountain in the two southern states and can be accessed either via the Melaka or Johor route.
The mountain's plateau-like summit peaks at 1,276m above sea level, and offers a panoramic view of the Straits of Melaka and Sumatra coastline on a clear day. Gunung Ledang is ideally-suited for picnickers, nature lovers, birdwatchers, rock-climbers and jungle trekkers and those who seek nature in its raw splendour.
The History of Gunung Ledang
A Popular medieval romantic Malay folklore, still alluded to by the older generation, is about the Fairy Princess of Mount Ophir or Puteri Gunung Ledang in Malay.
Mount Ophir is in Johor state, close to the Malacca/Johor border. According to the legend, the princess was of slim build and medium height and stunning beautiful. Further, she was also endowed with a sinuous movement that accentuated every curve of her lithe body. Men were naturally attracted to her but amongst the many she was claimed to have spurned was the Sultan of Malacca. Legend has it that the princess eventually married one Nakhoda Ragam, a hero whose name unfailingly struck terror inti the hearts of those who had dared to oppose him. But this hero was later to die at the hands of his princess-wife.
Ragam was found of tickling the Princess’s ribs and one day, in an uncontrollable burst of reaction, the Princess stabbed her husband in the breast with a needle she was handling. Therefore the Princess returned to Mount Ophir and vowed never to set eyes on another man. Ragam’s boat, not long after, was crushed during a storm and legend has it that the debris of the wreck transformed into the present six islands off Malacca.
It was claimed that the boat’s kitchen became Pulau Hanyut, the cake-tray, Pulau Nangka, the water-jar, Pulau Undan, the incense-burner, Pulau Serimbun, the hen-coop, Pulau Burong the honey moon cabin of Ragam and the Princess, Pulau Besar. [u]
